ISLAMIC SCIENCES PROGRAM (ISP)

Structured Learning

The Islamic Sciences Program is catered for Muslimahs who prefer a structured form of learning and can foresee themselves committing to an ongoing online learning for a few years. It is NOT for those who are tight on time, as the course is intensive, covering several subjects per semester.

1 Year Content Access

Uploads begin 17th July 2024. One video will be released  weekly for four months, for each of the modules you are enrolled in for that semester. While the semester officially ends after six months, you still have access to the content for an entire year.

Certification

Upon the completion of the program (i.e. all 10 semesters), a specialized certificate in the Islamic Sciences from Afaq Syria will be awarded, InshaAllah

Intensive & Comprehensive

Duration: 5 Years
Language Medium: English
Total number of hours of lessons: 4-5 hours per week
Prerequisites: Obtained ‘N’ Levels/’O’ Levels or any certificate of similar standing.

*For the Quran subject, students will be required to make once a week online appointments with the Ustazah.

STUDY FEE

  • SGD150 for new students enrolling in Semester 1 (Inclusive of all ISP subjects)
  • SGD120 for current students enrolling in Semester 2 onwards (inclusive of all ISP subjects)

TESTS & CERTIFICATION
There will be an obligatory test at the end of the semester for each subject.

At the end of the program, students who have passed the test/s with a minimum overall percentage of 50% will be awarded a specialized certificate in the Islamic Sciences from Afaq Syria.

Note: The ISP will require commitment from students as they can only continue to the subsequent semester/year if they have sat for and passed the tests.

Once in, enroll in the relevant ISP semester. Upon successful enrollment, you will have access to all the courses included for the semester you’re enrolling in.

Specific for those who would like to learn or improve their Qur’anic recitation, as well as memorize its verses or talaqqi with sanad. AfaqSQ will pair you up with a teacher most suited to your needs, inshaAllah, and your learning will commence online.

#2. short daurahs

For Muslimahs who are serious in learning but find it hard to commit fully, the  shorter daurahs (courses) cover subjects such as al-Qur’an, Tafseer, Hadith & the Arabic Language. The length of each daurah depends on the number of modules they each contain. Choose the subject(s) that you wish to study, have access to the course content for a year, and take the tests and exams only if you wish to.

For Muslimahs who prefer a structured form of learning, the five-year Islamic Sciences Program comprises of a fixed selection of modules each semester, with obligatory tests and compulsory exams at the end of each semester.
